The committee held its first meeting for the 1999-2000 term on December 12. Guest speakers Sherif Raafat, managing director of Concord International Investments Egypt Office, Dr. Ahmed Heikal, board member of EFG-Hermes Holding, and Mohamed Taha, general manager of Egyptian American Bank, led a discussion on whether the current rally in Egyptian stocks would continue.
