AmCham Egypt was the lead organization hosting bipartisan congressional staff delegations from January 2002 to 2006 with the goal of maintaining its friendship and communication with decision makers in the U.S., especially in Congress and the White House. Staff delegations were a follow up to AmCham's 27-year old policy of undertaking Doorknock Missions to Washington D.C. Although AmCham Egypt is no longer the head coordinator for staff visits, it continues to host events on behalf of the delegations when they visit Egypt either through the U.S. Embassy or the Government of Egypt. Currently, staff delegations are strictly organized by the U.S. Government. |
