On February 18, AmCham Egypt hosted a Conference on "Public-Private Partnership in the Transport Sector".
This Conference, the first of its kind in Egypt, showcased investment and partnership opportunities in Roads, Railways, Ports, Maritime, and River transport. As an increasingly recognized means to address public issues, public-private-partnership models and opportunities were examined, with special emphasis on Egypt’s challenges. Speakers included a range of transport experts and government official as well as significant contributions throughout the event by H.E. Mohamed Mansour, Minister of Transport. A booklet, created in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, of partnering opportunities and information was also distributed.
